Our recent projects

Rottenrow Electric Scheme
KKUS were instructed to carry out detailed wheeled as-laid/as-built surveys for the new laying of a 33kv cable through one of the town centres in Glasgow. The cable line was detailed and offset from fixed points, along with any deviation in the cable routing. Joint bays were also measured and detailed and recorded on the final submitted drawing plans and sections. All work was carried out to the clien'ts specification within a 7 day timescale, from survey to drawing submission.

Mid Cheshire 3 - Topographical Survey
As part of our ongoing commitment to the strategic large diameter mains that were being installed across the North West, KKUS provided detailed topographical surveys on proposed routes for strategic mains installations. Ground levels were recorded at 25m intervals as per the client's specification, along with all other utilities, trees, fences and any other obstructions which may affect the planning and programming of the proposed route. The data was then converted in to AutoCAD and presented to the client to plot the agreed final pipeline position.

NW40 Distribution Mains - Small Diameter
KKUS were invited by 2 main contractors to the client to provide detailed as-laid/built surveys and associated AutoCAD format drawings in accordance with client's specification guide for recording underground assets. All tasks were undertaken to demanding timescales and strict quality checks carried out by the client. KKUS were the first sub-contractor to achieve 100% quality and performance scoring from the clients KPI's.

Dunham to Knutsford Large Diameter Main Installation
Topographical and detailed As-laid/built drawings were undertaken by KKUS for the installation of a strategic main spanning from Dunham Reservoir to Storage Tanks at Knutsford. The work involved directional drill works across canals and motorways, requiring KKUS to be on site whilst the new main was installed into the new position. The remainder of the pipeline was installed using open cut trenches, with all fittings and changes in the surrounding area amended and captured. The data was then converted into AutoCAD and submitted to the client for approval.
